En el centro, una madre y un ni\u00f1o miran atrav\u00e9s de un televisor transparente; abajo el logo del anunciante y la frase que inspira este post: \u00abLa publicidad es una ventana a la que todos tenemos acceso\u00bb. La imagen es sencilla, muy simb\u00f3lica y creo que describe bien a los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n pero no exactamente a la publicidad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La televisi\u00f3n (igual que la prensa, la radio, el cine e Internet) s\u00ed abre una ventana al mundo exterior<\/strong>, fuera de nuestro apartamento, a nuestro barrio o al extranjero. Sus historias, no importa si son reales o de ficci\u00f3n, nos permiten conocer qu\u00e9 pasa aqu\u00ed o all\u00ed. Lo mismo que si nos asom\u00e1semos al balc\u00f3n, <strong>encendiendo el televisor aparecemos en cualquier parte del mundo<\/strong>. Pero, al contrario, <strong>la publicidad utiliza los medios como canales<\/strong>, no es una ventana.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque tienen algo en com\u00fan, la <strong>parcialidad<\/strong>. Un anuncio proyecta una imagen condicionada por el uso de un producto, aprobada previamente por la marca anunciante. En el caso de los medios, el s\u00edmbolo del euro (en forma de publicidad o de grupo pol\u00edtico) decide tambi\u00e9n qu\u00e9 se muestra y qu\u00e9 no. De una manera m\u00e1s o menos transparente, <strong>los medios y la publicidad comparten influencias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Por cierto, el anunciante es <a href=\"http:\/\/www.autocontrol.es\" target=\"_blank\">Autocontrol<\/a> o Asociaci\u00f3n de Autocontrol de la Publicidad (AAP), una asociaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro creada en 1995 por anunciantes, agencias y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n que se encarga de gestionar el sistema de autorregulaci\u00f3n publicitario espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n<p>Acabo con la frase que <a href=\"http:\/\/downloadingmassmedia.blogspot.com\/2005\/12\/ad-famosos-de-white-label.html\">White label<\/a> ha puesto en boca de Kevin Spacey \u00ab<strong>Prefiero tener ventanas a espejos<\/strong>\u00ab.
